Highcliffe Residents' Association

A Community Interest Company

About

Highcliffe is part of the town of Christchurch, but now has its own Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council. From 1 April 2019 it became part of the Unitary Authority of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The village boasts beautiful unspoiled beaches, unsurpassed clifftop views, nature reserves, wildlife areas, and much more, including historic Highcliffe Castle.

The Residents Association was formed in 1945 to ensure that the unique character of the village and its surroundings are maintained. It has grown to be a powerful voice in local affairs, campaigning ceaselessly to preserve the lasting character of the area.

In 2007 the Association became a Community Interest Company, which gave many benefits, not least of which was to allow the Association, both Executive and membership, to be more effective in campaigning for the future of Highcliffe.
